The best modes in CS: GO

CS GO is a first-person shooter game put forward for the competition. The game does not have a single-player campaign, here the entire gameplay is implemented in several modes, and the most basic of them is competitive. In general, the game is too popular not to know about it.

Tournament mode in CS: GO

Advanced modes are very important, without them it is impossible to imagine the gameplay (for example, one of the main modes is tower cs go). Another indispensable mode is the tournament mode. It is necessary because most progress depends on it. The mode consists of 30 rounds of 2 minutes each. The game includes 10 players – 5 per faction. What are the main points of this game mode to consider?

  • penalties from the match (they tend to increase);
  • that team, who’s got 16 points, definitely wins.

As a rule, it is the tournament mode that is the most popular of all. But it’s not the only one.

Simplified CS: GO Tournament Mode

The mode is not as strict and serious as all other versions. Before the game, each player has the opportunity to practice. Only 15 rounds and victory remains at 8. What are the main features of this mode?

  • you can pass through allies;
  • you can shoot allies.

The simplified mode is necessary for those who still do not feel quite confident at the beginning of CS: GO.

Other modes

Competitive mode is not the only one. There is also a normal mode, a race, a royal battle, and many others, which are called temporary. Each mode has specific rules. This is an interesting fact about the royal battle. There is no division into rounds, so the whole game is like one huge round. But that is why it is more interesting since the player is fully involved in the process. Another interesting fact about the race is that the economy is disabled in it, so the only sure way to improve your equipment is to kill an opponent and earn experience points to change weapons.

The economy

The main difference between CS: GO and other competitive shooters are that it uses a smart economy system. Let’s say in a game you plant and defuse bombs or explosives, kill enough enemies, and win the round. In this case, game dollars are credited to the account. On them, you can pump your hero, buy good weapons, and look after decent armor. Dollars that are not spent are kept in the account. But it also works in the opposite direction. So, actions directed against their teammates and shooting at “friends” are penalized. You must be able to count the economy, both your own and your enemy. It’s called “competitive skill”. Not all cyber sportsmen get it right away; they learn this for a long time.

Match plays an important role in the game. There is a ranking system that closely monitors the player’s level and achievement. Following a certain level, each is assigned an appropriate rank. Having almost the same level (i.e. 1-2 levels different!), the match system can unite players by making a special match.
